Chocolate Espresso Dry Steak Rub

Grilling this week-end? Try a Chocolate Espresso Dry Steak Rub to season your steak.

Chocolate Espresso Dry Steak Rub

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Equipment

Pie Plate or Small Bowl
Fork

Ingredients
2 tablespoon American Heritage Historic Chocolate Drink Mix
1 tablespoons Instant Espresso Coffee
1⁄2 teaspoon Cinnamon
Olive Oil
Salt (to taste)
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

Directions

Brush/Rub the steak with olive oil, then sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Set aside

In a pie plate or bowl, combine espresso, American Heritage Chocolate and cinnamon. Stir with a fork to blend together

Coat the steak with the coffee-chocolate mix by gently pressing it into the meat.

Grill to your preferences.

The chocolate adds a nice earthy taste to the steak with the added flavoring of espresso and cinnamon. Serve with roasted vegetables, corn on the cob or potatoes of choice.
