Chocolate Monkey Bread
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes
Cutting Board and Knife
Gallon Size Plastic Bag
Fluted Cake Pan
Small Microwavable Bowl
2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury Grand Biscuits.
1 cups American Heritage Historic Chocolate Drink Mix
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup butter, melted
Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 12-cup fluted tube pan with shortening or cooking spray.
In large storage plastic food bag, mix granulated sugar and chocolate
Separate dough into 16 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Shake in bag to coat. Arrange in pan.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate and sugar mixture over the top of the bread.
In small bowl, microwave butter until melted about 30 seconds; pour over biscuit pieces.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn upside down onto serving plate; pull apart to serve. Serve warm.
Pull the bread apart and enjoy. Be careful its totally additive.
