Popcorn! Just saying the word and I can smell it popping, my mouth starts watering for that light, salty, buttery snack. I like to jazz up my popcorn up with a handful of chocolate bits, nuts, pretzels and marshmallows. Sometimes toffee or M&M’s as well. I’m always looking for new add-in ideas. So when I found a recipe for raspberry chocolate popcorn I had to try it.
In less than 5 minutes you have a popcorn snack that is Jazzed up with freeze dried raspberries and drizzled with American Heritage Chocolate. It’s so decadently delicious.
Chocolate Raspberry Popcorn
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Pulverize freeze dried raspberries with confectionary sugar in a food processor
In the microwave melt the American Heritage Drink Mix in a small microwavable bowl for one minute and stir until smooth.
Pour melted chocolate over the popcorn and lightly stir.
Sprinkle the popcorn and chocolate mixture with the raspberry sugar and toss and serve.
The raspberry adds a tart sophisticated taste to the natural saltiness of the popcorn which combined with the American Heritage Chocolate; makes for an explosion of rich fruity flavor.
