The American Heritage Historic Chocolate division of Mars sends us new recipes cards featuring seasonal recipes using American Heritage chocolate products for us to share with our. We recently received the recipe for Fall Harvest Brownies. Fall has arrived here in New England; the leaves are changing color and cool, brisk days inspire baking so I just had to try Fall Harvest Brownies for our blog.
Besides American Heritage Historic Chocolate Drink mix and toffee bits, the recipe also calls for pumpkin butter. I asked my husband if he had any clue how to make pumpkin butter; he recommended I wave my magic wand to create it! Big help he is. Instead I did the next best thing and visited my favorite grocery store, Trader Joe’s, and behold, there on their shelves was pumpkin butter! With my purchase in hand, I had all the ingredients needed to make the following recipe.
